As the nights draw in and the fire roars, it’s time to change the menu at The Ashford Arms for the autumn and winter season.

 

The menu at The Ashford Arms combines classic British favourites with exciting global twists, offering something for every palate.

 

From nibbles and sharing plates to hearty mains, you’ll find dishes like our slow-cooked lamb shank with a rogan josh curry twist, pan-fried seabass, and hand-prepared burgers that pack flavour in every bite.

With ingredients sourced from trusted local suppliers, the freshness and quality shine through in every dish.

 

Our meat comes from New Close Farm in Over Haddon, ensuring top-quality, ethically reared produce. Fish is delivered fresh from RG Morris & Son in Buxton, while our fruit and vegetables are sourced from Winster Foods in Chesterfield, bringing the best seasonal flavours to our menu. We serve coffee from Sheffield’s Roastology, known for its ethically sourced beans, and offer a carefully curated wine selection from Hattersley Wines in Bakewell. Dry goods are supplied by Holdsworth Foods in Tideswell, and our dairy products come from Middleton’s Dairies in the Hope Valley, ensuring fresh, local flavours in every dish.
