Stepping up for Sheffield Childrens Hospital

Stepping up for Sheffield Childrens Hospital

This September, the Longbow Venues team are taking a step (many thousands of steps) to help raise vital funds for Sheffield Children’s hospital.

On Tuesday 2nd September, 27 members of the Longbow team will take on a 29-kilometre hike through the Peak District. Starting at The Peacock at Owler Bar, passing through The George and The Maynard to finishing here at The Ashford Arms.

We have set a fundraising goal of £2,500 to help support Sheffield Children’s Hospital, a lifeline for thousands of children and families across the UK.

Thanks to the incredible generosity we’ve already received, we’re delighted to say we’ve reached that milestone. To keep the momentum going and make an even bigger difference, we’ve now increased our target to £5,000. Every donation and every step of our 29K walk will help Sheffield Children’s Hospital continue its vital work for young patients and their families.

Donations will support funding essential services including specialist medical equipment, engaging environments built with children in mind, groundbreaking research and more.

You can help too by donating, sharing, or simply cheering on the team who are taking part. Every step counts.
