Join us in the cosy snug or how about making an evening of it and joining us in the restaurant for a delicious dinner?
Date Night Dinner – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 23-25
Get dressed up or dress down, we’re easy and comfy here at The Ashford Arms. Indulge in a must-needed date night and enjoy dinner and drinks in our stunning restaurant. Or why not double up and get your friends or family involved too? There’s nothing like a bit of fun, connection, flowing drinks and conversation on a bank holiday weekend. Especially when you’ve got an extra day to recover!
Saturday 24th to Monday 26th – Big, Bold Breakfast
We source all our ingredients from local suppliers including our meat from The Ginger Butchers in Bakewell. The breakfast sausages in particular are ridiculously tasty. Or why not go for something local but different like the Derbyshire oatcake wrap with bacon, grated cheddar cheese, baked beans and fried egg?
And don’t forget we look to local coffee suppliers, Roastology and Joe’s organic teas to give that much-needed caffeine buzz to start your bank holiday weekend.
Sunday, August 25th – Sumptuous Sunday Lunch
If you haven’t yet booked for Sunday Lunch at the Ashford Arms BE QUICK! Tables are like hotcakes every week and go with some speed. That’s because everything is sourced from local farms culminating in the freshest, most delicious roast. The fresh, crisp and bright seasonal veg, duck-fat roast potatoes, gooey cauliflower cheese and a light and fluffy Yorkshire pudding accompany your choice of roast rump of lamb, roast sirloin, roast pork loin, chicken supreme or plant-based root vegetable Wellington.
Monday, August 26th – Monsal Trail or Afternoon Tea
On Bank Holiday Monday why not start your day at The Ashford Arms ahead of a walk along the nearby Monsal Trail? The whole circular walk is 9.3km (just under 6 miles). The impressive Headstone Viaduct is a must along the walk for the stunning views and panoramic scenery.
If something more sophisticated and relaxing is your thing, why not book to enjoy Afternoon Tea at the Ashford Arms? Served Monday to Saturday 12-5pm, our sweet or savoury Afternoon Tea experiences are delightful. Bookings for Afternoon Tea must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
