The Ashford Arms Joins the New Peak District Monopoly Game
We’re excited to share that The Ashford Arms is now part of the MONOPOLY: Peak District Edition, alongside our sister venues The George Hathersage and The Maynard. This new version of the world’s most popular board game celebrates the best of the Peak District, and we are proud to have a place among the region’s most cherished landmarks.
The official launch of the new MONOPOLY game was held at The George Hathersage where Mr Monopoly himself got cosy in our suite and met locals including children from Hathersage St Michael’s C of E Primary School who took the new game to play in class.
As part of the MONOPOLY game, our sister venue, The Maynard, is featured on one of the Community Chest cards, where players can win an Afternoon Tea experience at the venue. While it’s a fun and fictitious prize within the game, we wholeheartedly encourage you to visit any of our venues and indulge in this delightful treat in person!
We’re also thrilled that MONOPOLY: Peak District Edition is available for purchase at The Ashford Arms for £34.95 (subject to availability), and guests can even ask to play the game during their stay. Just pop over to reception and ask if there’s a spare board. It’s a great way to add some extra fun to your visit, especially if you’re a MONOPOLY enthusiast.
